Breadth Studies
Breadth studies represent one of the most exciting aspects of the New Generation degree programs and epitomise the aims of the University's Growing Esteem strategy.
Breadth studies allow each New Generation degree student to enrol in subjects outside the core disciplines of their degree. By taking subjects from areas beyond the scope of their degree, students are exposed to different academic skills, have an opportunity to learn complementary ways of thinking about issues and problems, expand their knowledge and challenge their perceptions.
By engaging in this cross-disciplinary learning, students are equipped with multiple competencies, preparing them for the challenges of changing workplaces in the twenty-first century and enabling them to engage with local and global communities.
