Melbourne University Sport

Melbourne University Sport is responsible for providing the sports and recreation services for the University of Melbourne. These can be divided into two main components: fitness facilities (gym, aerobics and pool), venue and facility hire; and provision of facilities, services and support for the forty-four Sports Clubs affiliated with Melbourne University Sports Association (MUSA).

Sport and recreation are important components of the 'Melbourne Experience' for many students.

Director, Melbourne University Sport - Tim Lee

Tim is responsible for the overall management of Melbourne University Sport (MUS) in the provision of fitness, sport & recreation, facilities and programs. He provides high-level advice to the University (via the Provost) and the MUS Board on the future development and management of sport & recreation at the University.

Tim is also responsible for the development and implementation of the MUS Strategic and Operational Plans and his role includes overseeing the development and support of sporting Clubs in collaboration with the Melbourne University Sport Association (MUSA).
