Communications and Advice Unit
The Communications and Advice Unit (CommA) promotes best practice in communications and advising across the Office of the Provost, working towards a more cohesive, accessible and student-centric approach to the delivery of information about academic programs and student services.
CommA provides essential services including:
- online and in-person training for student-facing staff (through the Student Advice Program)
- coordination, design and production of selected print and web publications within the Office of the Provost
- advice regarding student communication planning and campaigns
- organisation and facilitation of student focus groups
- guidance with the use of communication tools including notices, email, directories, and the Student Portal
Location
CommA is located in the East Wing of the Raymond Priestley Building on both the Ground Floor and Mezzanine.
